Hope G. Smith is an artist residing in Wallace, NC. She taught as an art teacher for three years in the public schools and continues to teach private and group lessons. For two years, Hope taught lessons at the Arts Company of Faison. Hope currently ownes and operates a fine art and custom framing studio in Wallace. Hope G. Smith is offers group art lessons at her business for all age groups. She received her BA in Fine Arts from the University of North Carolina in Greensboro.

Hope is currently focusing more of her time on developing her portfolio as an artist and working on commissioned artwork for local clients. She has primarily been working on acrylic landscapes, street scenes, and her whimsical Psalms series. Hope has chosen the Giclee printing process as her way to make reproductions of her paintings and offers several limited edition series. Giclee prints allow for incredible detail and brilliant color on archival papers and canvas. Art is just one of Hope’s passions. She says, “I give credit to God for all my artistic abilities because it is something that He does through me. He is the Ultimate artist.”

Hope G. Smith has recently been showing and speaking at various locations and organizations regarding her art career. She is furthering her professional development by continually entering juried shows and exhibiting her artwork at various locations.
